We need a broad range of skills and roles.
Our greatest immediate need is for volunteers in the shop. We want to make sure that people aren’t overburdened, so the more people who volunteer the better. Just a couple of hours will help a great deal.
We need to make sure that our finances are managed well, so we need volunteers with Accountancy and Book-keeping skills. Judith Gibbins, our Treasurer, can talk you through what we need if you think you can help.
We also need volunteers who can help with cleaning and maintenance, advertising and publicity, the website and our social media presence.
We’re keen for young people to volunteer as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and to gain work experience.
You can volunteer by phoning the shop, speaking to a volunteer, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by downloading the volunteer form.Volunteer form
